Playing eight different instruments and a variety of song styles (from bluegrass to blues & from gospel to light rock and country...), Derwin Hinson does it all! He began playing banjo with his father's bluegrass band in Fayetteville at age 9 and was performing with Charlie Louving at the Grand Ole Opry by his late teens. He later toured with another legend, Vern Gosdin, appearing on Crook and Chase, Nashville Now, Austin City Limits, and Willie Nelson's Farm Aid.
